Datin Paduka Sharifah Mazlina Syed Abdul Kadir is the First Malaysian and Asian woman to complete pole-to-pole Mission and the First Asian Woman to reach the South Pole.

With her astounding experience, she will be speaking to our secretaries at the MSC 2009, sharing her insights on how she kept polishing her skills to overcome and manage her mental, emotional and physical self and achieve her performance at her arduous venture.

She had embraced and conquered many obstacles which stood in her way to realize her dream - becoming the first Asian woman to trek in the Antarctic region. Not only being the first, she is also the Fastest Asian woman to successfully cross the Antarctic in 22 days.

DAVID GOLDWICH
is a professional speaker and trainer who specializes in the areas of communication skills, negotiation skills and personal effectiveness. David practiced law in the United States for over ten years. He also has an MBA with a specialization in Business Management and Organization.

As a trainer, David applies the “80/20 Rule” to training by identifying the few critical tools necessary for the greatest improvement and presenting them in a form that is simple to learn and simple to use. David's ability, sense of humor, and wealth of experience enable him to deliver breakthrough changes at all levels. Some of his clients in the region include Siemens, American Express, OCBC Bank, Keppel Corporation, BP, Shell, Petronas and Deutsche Bank. David is the author of the book, 'Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road? : Lessons in Effective Communication.'


HEATHER HANSEN
Founder of Hansen Speech & Language Training, is a professional speaker, trainer, author and Cambridge-certified English teacher. She speaks and trains on topics related to speech, language, communication, networking and interpersonal skills. She has helped hundreds of professionals in the region sharpen their English language skills and become more confident communicators.

Heather has lived in five countries, and is now happy to call Singapore her sixth home. She speaks three languages and has extensive experience dealing with cross-cultural issues. Heather’s articles are widely published, and her first book, Sharpen your Interpersonal Skills will be out later this year.


MOHAMED AZHARUDDIN OSMAN
is a pilot by training who joined MAS in 1973 after completing his flying training in Sydney Australia. Whilst in MAS he held various positions as an examiner, trainer and management pilot. His last management position was General Manager Flight Operations. He is also a Competent Toastmaster and NLP practitioner.

Always one who strives to improve himself, he managed to complete his CILT, a general MBA and an MBA (HRD) from UPM. He has vast experience managing and working in a multicultural environment such as MAS, who at one time had pilots from 15 different nationalities from all over the world. He is a Certified Professional Trainer, (IPMA, UK) and having his passion towards training, he shares his knowledge and experience with others.


NORMA SIT
is an entrepreneur and a social activist. She owns and runs her businesses under the Liveworks brand. Her corporate experience included being the CEO of a high-growth highly visible IT company in the payments industry, wearing various hats when she served at the Singapore Economic Development Board, and being the co-founding manager of a US$200m fund during the Asian financial crises in 1998. She is an active volunteer and a new-age philanthropist, supporting work in sports and the arts, and for disadvantaged women and youth.

Norma is a fellow of the International Women Forum Leadership Foundation and an award winner of the Singapore Women’s Weekly Great Women of Our Times (2006). In 2008, Norma was recognised for her work with women by The International Alliance of Women with the World of Difference 100 Award. She is married with three nearly grown-up children.


JAYDEN CHEN
is Malaysia’s leading Fitness Expert and Fitness Motivational Coach. He is a certified Fitness Trainer who graduated in the U.K. with a certification in Optimum & Sports Nutrition. He writes for various magazines and is the author of Slim Malaysians, a book that addresses Malaysians’ overweight issue. Jayden is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner, LifeCoach, and MasterClass Trainer. He also holds a Law degree. He founded Jayden’s Home-Fitness-Trainer, the first company that provides and certifies trainers specializing in home exercises. Jayden also founded the first Women’s Weight-Loss Educational Seminar in Malaysia.

NIGEL HO
trained and graduated in Hotel Management, Nigel is a natural people person with an innate ability in sales. He left the hotel industry at the middle management level, and went on to the Financial Services industry where he was able to blend his people skill together with his sales ability and created a Peak Performing sales team under his training and coaching.

He discovered his passion for helping people through transforming lives in a positive manner when he went through the Certified Professional Trainer’s course (IPMA) UK. His areas of expertise include Voice Training, Public Speaking, Spice Up With Humour, Body Language & Gesturing, Sales & Marketing, Train the Trainer and many more.

A passionate trainer and speaker, his humorous disposition and interactive manner of training make his sessions highly enjoyable and yet beneficial to their learning process.

Never a dull moment in his training, Nigel uses activities and audience participation to engage the participants throughout his lessons.
