Program Outline

This core programme covers the latest in coaching techniques where scholars not only LEARN but put into PRACTICE what they have been taught. This is done through a wide range of highly interactive exercises and practice sessions as well as super-learning methods and experiential techniques. Conducted in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere, scholars are also required to carry out live coaching assignments using the S.P.O.R.T™ coaching model. Among some of the areas they will learn includes:

  • The Principles of Coaching
    •  History of  Coaching, Benefits of Coaching, Differences between Coaching, Mentoring & Counseling
  • Use of S.P.O.R.T™ Coaching Model to help coachee improve performance, discover personal motivation, clarify goals and identify processes for goal achievement, and initiate effective action.
  • How to deal effectively with all behavioral styles, vary coaching approach to meet individual needs
  • Creating coaching environment within an internal corporate organization, in area of work and personal interest
  • Core Coaching Competencies – how to assist the coachee in self-learning rather than being taught or instructed
  • Profiling Tools – Using tested profiling tools to highlight Personal Strengths to unlock a person’s potential and maximize own performance
